Bodybuilder Ricardo Nollasco do Santos, better known as Kadu Santos, died on Monday (20), in Novo Hamburgo (RS), aged 31. The cause of death was not disclosed by the family.
The news was communicated on social media by his mother, Iva Nollasco. The athlete’s body was buried on Tuesday afternoon (21). “The saddest day of my life. My beloved son,” wrote Iva.
Born in Rio Grande do Sul, Kadu had been engaged to personal trainer Sabrina Wollmann since July.
With 11 bodybuilding titles and two overall trophies in the Muscle Contest, one of the sport’s main competitions, he also worked as a coach and offered online consultancy.
PowerCT, the training center where he worked, mourned his death in a statement: “Kadu was always an example of dedication, discipline and companionship, leaving a mark of inspiration among colleagues, teachers and friends.”
The bodybuilder was also part of Team Deusa Hera, a consultancy specializing in bodybuilding and supplementation, which also released a note of condolence.
