Military Police and Traffic Agents participate in preventive driving course in Cruzeiro do Sul

This Tuesday, the 21st, military police officers and traffic agents from the municipalities of Mâncio Lima, Rodrigues Alves and Cruzeiro do Sul participated in practical training in preventive driving, held in the parking lot of the Arena do Juruá Stadium, in Cruzeiro do Sul. The activity is part of the program of the 3rd Applied Traffic Course (CTA), promoted by a specialized team from Rio Branco.

The course began on September 29th and includes theoretical and practical classes aimed at improving the work of traffic safety professionals. Since then, participants have worked in operations imposing fines and vehicle seizures. Now, in the final stretch of training, the focus is on preventive management, a fundamental step to ensure greater safety in daily actions.

According to the course’s deputy coordinator, Lieutenant Jacks Gomes, the training aims to improve the performance of agents and police officers in traffic, reinforcing the importance of attention and technique behind the wheel.

“In traffic, the most important thing when we are driving is attention. We are teaching techniques so that these traffic agents and police officers can provide a better and safer service to society. This will improve the provision of services on a daily basis. Society will have quality work and service”, he stated.

For traffic agent Fredson Edmar, from the State Department of Traffic (Detran), training directly contributes to safety in emergency situations faced in the daily work of the profession.

“This instruction is very important for the service that we present to the community every day. During the service, we go through emergency situations, we have to carry out risky maneuvers. This instruction serves to improve our knowledge and skills so as not to cause accidents. It raises the level of mastery that we have to have, beyond the normal daily routine. It’s adrenaline up there”, he commented.

The third sergeant of the Military Police, José Orlando, highlighted the relevance of the instructions received throughout the course for police activity.

“We are receiving a lot of instructions, both theoretical and practical. Today, specifically, we have this practical instruction in driving, which is of great importance for our daily lives as public security operators. This knowledge opens doors, creates possibilities and qualifies us to offer an increasingly better service to society”, he concluded.

The 3rd CTA is approaching its conclusion with the certainty that professionals will be better prepared to face daily traffic challenges and provide a safer and more efficient service to the population.
