Despite being imprisoned in Italy since July, federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) continues to have her office functioning in the Chamber of Deputies and expenses rising in recent months.

In May, when he requested leave from office, Zambelli used R$127,800 from the parliamentary quota to pay salaries to up to 25 parliamentary secretaries.
