Uniform electricity and gas tariffs “not easy,” says E-Control manager

Gas network fees will rise by 18.2 percent next year. The main reason is falling gas consumption and the recent warm winter, said Wolfgang Urbantschitsch from E-Control on Tuesday evening in the ZiB2. This means that the network costs incurred have to be distributed among fewer gas customers. It is complicated and – as became apparent in the conversation with the energy manager – it will remain so for the time being.
