Former Czech President Miloš Zeman (81) was released from the hospital on Tuesday evening, informs. Last Thursday, he underwent acute surgery there to remove an abscess on his back. He will recover in home care, where his wife Ivana Zemanová (60) will help him along with her mother.
However, the ex-president will continue to visit the hospital for regular medical check-ups. “I’m still weak and tired, but I’m better. I was treated with exemplary care at the hospital,” Miloš Zeman thanked the doctors. His office canceled the program for the following days.
During hospitalization, Zeman also spent time reading. “I am reading the book Zápotocky – Too Many Lives by Michal Stehlík, which I received for my birthday,” he confided. The former president noted that he finds the work really interesting and added that people around him often tell him about the similarity between Zápotocky and his own father.
