A new study on “catcalling” couldn’t clarify that, but it could explain to some extent why they do it and what characteristics many of these men share. The study by the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and the Department of Psychology at the University of Salzburg focused on parental bonding and the “callous-unemotional personality traits in male perpetrators”.
