The federal deputy (União-RJ), former minister of the no (PT), invited Márcio Lima Sampaio, son of the former minister of Health, to work as parliamentary secretary in her office.
Sampaio made a post this Wednesday (22) stating that he had received an invitation from Daniela Carneiro to occupy the position in the Chamber of Deputies. “Thank you for your trust,” he wrote.
In January 2024, when Nísia was minister, Sampaio took over the Secretariat of Culture of Cabo Frio, in Rio de Janeiro.
The city was one of the destinations to finance actions in hospitals and outpatient clinics in 2023. In December of that year alone, it earned an additional R$55.4 million, more than the extra amount allocated to the state of São Paulo. The Health department denied a relationship between the appointment and the reinforcement made to the municipality.
The Panel sought advice from the deputy and the son of the former Minister of Health, but received no response.
