Flamengo played the first duel in the Libertadores semifinal, against Racing, at Maracanã. Filipe Luís’ team lost Pedro in the second half of the match. The player was replaced by Bruno Henrique and left the field complaining of pain in his right wrist.
Journalist Marcelo Courrege, from TV Globo, reported during the broadcast that the player was uncomfortable with the problem in his hand. The information came 15 minutes into the second half.
– Pedro is very bothered by the pain in his left wrist. Filipe Luís has even asked him if it bothers him so much that he has to leave the game – he said.
The player left the field, remained on the bench with his hand still on his wrist and must undergo a thorough evaluation at the club. Flamengo did not give details about Pedro’s problem.

The website “Transfermarkt”, a specialist in football market figures, values Pedro at 20 million euros (R$ 125.8 million).
Pedro received a promise from the board some time ago of a salary increase.
