Having played for , Douglas Costa has not entered the field in an official match since May. Meanwhile, the striker trains at Boavista’s CT in Vargem Grande, in Rio de Janeiro.
Douglas Costa had his contract terminated because he was unable to return to the Oceanian country, following his decree. The Australian club cited ‘personal reasons’ for ending the contract.
Wanted by Itatiaia at the time, Douglas Costa’s defense preferred not to comment on the case.
