Inês Mocho decided to expose the unpleasant situation she went through this year, admitting that she thought a lot before doing so publicly.
The professional makeup artist and digital influencer recorded a video titled “Venting about my worst year” and, in addition to ‘opening her heart’ about the period in which she had to accompany her daughter, Leonor, who underwent surgery after an accident on the street, revealed the “betrayal” she was subjected to by a now former employee.
Founder of ‘Inês Mocho Academy’, the businesswoman explained that, during that phase when her daughter was hospitalized, she was “more absent” and that, “when returning to work”, she was faced with another “nightmare”.
“I am faced with a scenario that I think must be every businessman’s biggest nightmare, which is betrayal by his right-hand man. The person who worked with me for over five years, who was my right-hand man, who had access to all my know-howmy entire method, the entire structure and functioning of my academy and the Makeup Master Course moved, I don’t know why, for what reasons or for what intentions, I transfer this entire project to another company and thus implement an academy”realized.
Inês Mocho then explained why she was revealing this “betrayal” on social media: “I think we are in an era where it is important for us to be kind but not to be stupid and there are things that are too serious for us to remain silent or consent to and it was for this reason that I decided to share my story with you and show you that this type of attitude is not ok and to inspire you too (…). implemented something that was created by us (…). Inspiration is not copying, much less appropriating in an illegal way.”he said, guaranteeing that he will “rebuild” and “create something even better”.
