Eating etiquette in the office: You are not allowed to comment on other people’s food


The open-plan office is the greatest pain of working people. It’s loud, no one can concentrate, and colleagues always want something from you at the most inopportune moment. And then there’s the thing about food: when it’s lunchtime and it smells like curry, kebab, fish, Asian noodles or burgers. Not just in the office kitchens, but especially when these meals are eaten at home. Some colleagues don’t care, while other colleagues complain about the unpleasant odors in the workplace.
