Did LDU change the shield?
LDU did not change its official shield, that traditional red “U” with which the team won its main titles. In fact, the different crest is on a new commemorative shirt released in October 2025 to celebrate the club’s 107th anniversary.
It is a retro shield, inspired by the first emblems in the history of LDU, which features a red background, a blue diagonal stripe and the acronyms “LDU” in white. Therefore, it is just a special edition for this anniversary shirt, and the official symbol of the institution remains the same.
