The journalist and influencer has lived in the USA for around ten years and is being denounced by the Attorney General’s Office () for the crimes of armed criminal organization, attempted violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, coup d’état, qualified damage due to violence and serious threat against the Union’s assets, with considerable harm to the victim and deterioration of listed assets.
To date, the defendant is represented by the Federal Public Defender’s Office (DPU), which had requested the suspension of the process until he was personally notified. In response, Moraes understood that it was necessary to send a formal request to the North American authorities.
After being subpoenaed, the influencer will have 15 days to present a defense.
