“At least here [em São Paulo] We are prestigious, yes. I have autonomy and complete freedom to make decisions and projects for diversity,” he says. “For example, I always appear in all of the party’s commercials that go on TV and radio. All in the name of MDB diversity.”
The note from the Diversity Center was signed by the national president of Diversity, Janaína Renée (PA). The manifesto stated that the event portrayed an “exclusionary Brazil” and cited as an example the fact that among the scheduled panels, all confirmed speakers were men. The information was contested by the executive secretary of the Ulysses Guimarães Foundation, Guto Scherer.
