This Thursday (23), the pop star was nominated for the “Songwriters Hall of Fame”, alongside the stars LL Cool J, David Byrne, Sarah McLachlan, Kenny Loggins, P!nk, Gene Simmons e Paul Stanley do Kiss, Charlotte Caffey, Kathy Valentine e Jane Wiedlin do Go-Go’s, Randy Bachman e Burton Cummings do Guess Who e Gerry Beckley e Dewey Bunnell, do America.
The nomination occurs for a composer who has a catalog of notable songs. Artist qualifies for inclusion 20 years after their first commercial release of a song. The first song of , “Tim McGraw”arrived in 2006.
The songwriter is elected through voting by members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Names such as Elton John, Brian Wilson, Bruce Springsteen, Carole King, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Lionel Richie e Phil Collins.
