A resident of the Federal District filed a police report after being the victim of an attempted rape and assault inside her own home. According to the report to the police, the woman was lying down, resting after tidying up the house, when she noticed the presence of a man on her bed.
The suspect, who lives in the same condominium, was only wearing underwear. Upon noticing the contact of his body, the victim reacted immediately and started a physical fight. During the confusion, the man fled the scene without full clothes on.

Shaken, the woman went to the police and reported the case. She said she was waiting for the mail to arrive at the time the crime happened. The investigation must determine how the man managed to enter the residence and whether other people were involved.
The episode generated outrage on social media, where internet users called for exemplary punishment for the attacker and his wife, who, according to comments, was aware of her husband’s attitude. “Women are never safe, even at home”, said one user.
