Former vice president expressed confidence in a new attempt
(UOL/FOLHAPRESS) – Former Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris said, in an interview with the British network BBC, that she intends to run again for president of the country.
“I’m not finished yet,” said Harris, on the “Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg” program, the entirety of which will be shown this Sunday (26). “I have lived my entire career as a life of service, and that is in my essence.”, he added.
The former vice president expressed confidence in a new attempt, stating that her great-nieces “will definitely” see a female president during their lives. The Democrat was defeated by Donald Trump to take Biden’s place after a disastrous performance in a debate.

Despite not being among the favorites currently competing for the Democratic ticket, she said she never listened to the polls. “If I had listened to the polls, I wouldn’t have run for my first or second office — and I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here.”
Harris also criticized Trump, saying she had already warned him that he would behave in an authoritarian manner. “He said he would use the Justice Department as a weapon — and that’s exactly what he did.”
The former vice president of the United States had the fastest campaign in the country’s modern history, after Biden’s departure from the race. The 107 days gave the title to a memoir, released last month.
In the post, Harris said it was “reckless” to allow Biden to run for a second term. “‘The decision is up to Joe and Jill (Joe Biden’s wife).’ We all repeated it like a mantra, as if we were hypnotized. Was it an act of nobility or recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was reckless.”
