Founded in 2003, in Redenção, in the interior of Pará, Brasil Terrenos was born from the entrepreneurial spirit of two families who saw the urbanism a way to turn dreams into reality.
What started small, with local subdivision projects, evolved into a far-reaching operation: today, the company is present in 17 states and more than 70 cities, being one of the main urban developers in the country.
Last year, the company achieved the second highest real estate profit of Brazil, with more than R$ 1.2 billion. At the forefront of this trajectory is Alexandre Pereira, vice-president of the company, who participated from the first steps alongside his father, one of the founders. According to him, the essence has always been clear: “We started small, with the dream of transforming land into communities. Brazil is horizontal. More than 88% of Brazilians live in houses”, says Pereira.

The impact beyond the business
The path to becoming a national reference was not easy. Alexandre highlights that the company went through important crises that, instead of a downturn, led to profound changes in management.
“The crises did not bring us down. They forced us to improve. We understood that, to continue growing, we needed to evolve as a company, structure processes and invest in management”, he states.
It was this process that led to the professionalization of the structure, the creation of more solid governance and the investment in sustainable and scalable business models. The expansion came with a strategy: reaching new markets without losing sight of close service and understanding the needs of those looking for their first property.
Brasil Terrenos works, for the most part, with planned and accessible neighborhoods, serving a public that is often realizing their dream of owning their own home for the first time.
“We don’t just sell land. We deliver belonging”, says Alexandre, reinforcing the social impact of the activity.

Looking to the future
The next steps include continued expansion, strengthening governance and the ambition to be part of the capital market. “Our next step is to grow with transparency and maturity to reach the capital market ready”, projects Alexandre.
