“It’s not linguistically correct,” said the Colombian president; US government has already carried out 5 offensives against boats in the region
The president of Colombia, (Colombia Humana, left), stated, on Thursday (23.Oct.2025), that it is incorrect to call boatmen who allegedly transport drugs in the Caribbean Sea “drug dealers”. According to him, “not linguistically correct” say that these people are drug dealersbut yes “drug workers”since acting in crime would be the only solution they found in the face of the poverty in which they live.
“In my opinion, calling these boatmen ‘drug traffickers’ is not linguistically correct. They are ‘drug trafficking workers’. Just as there are farmers who end up being supplied with inputs through coca leaves in exchange for money and because of poverty”said the president of Colombia.
