Nothing could dissuade me from going to Moscow, it is in Slovakia’s interest to have a dialogue with the Russian Federation. Western liberals are the last to know what is happening in the world. This was stated by the chairman of the parliamentary committee for defense and security, Richard Glück (Smer-SD) on the social network. He thus defended his last week’s trip to Moscow, which was highlighted by the Sme newspaper on Saturday.
“I do not belong to politicians who pay for PR articles in the media and I do not belong to those who are controlled at the behest of the media and non-governmental organizations. That is why, despite the great effort to build a new iron curtain between East and West, nothing could deter me from traveling to Russia and to try to send a clear signal that Slovakia is interested in a sovereign policy to all four corners of the world,” wrote on the social network Glück.
He thinks that without resources from the Russian Federation, Europe will not move forward. “That is why it is in the interest of the Slovak Republic to conduct a dialogue with the Russians. At the conference in Moscow, I also met with partners from Serbia and the European Union. You would also be very surprised by the number of interesting guests from the United States, China, India and Africa, who are also aware of the seriousness of the situation,” he explained. He explained that he also met an American actor in Moscow Steven Seagal. You can find their joint photo in the gallery.
He added that he also spoke with Elon Musk’s father – Errol Musk. “He also perceives the world in the same way as we do. However, our media, of course, missed that,” he pointed out. According to him, the main interest must be ending the war in Ukraine and “getting the EU economy back on its feet”. According to the head of the military and security committee, it is on its knees thanks to “an ideology that prevails over common sense”.
According to the findings of the Sme daily, Glück attended a gala dinner in Moscow last week for the 20th anniversary of the Russian state television RT, which is owned and financed by the state agency Ria Novosti. According to Sme, Glück gave a nine-minute interview for television in its studio, in which he criticized the Slovak media and praised the so-called alternative sites for bringing “different opinions”.
