A former flight attendant is warning others after what she went through two failed butt surgeries in Turkey so people don’t cause the same problem. Alanna Pow (22) was originally looking forward to a cheap plastic surgery, but today she deeply regrets her decision, she writes.
She claims that her buttocks and thighs were deformed by the first doctor and the second one was no better. “The first doctor took too much fat from my lower thighs and left them so misshapen. He butchered my thighs and I didn’t feel good. I only went to that clinic because I saw that another influencer was there, and it was ridiculous how easy it was to book an appointment there. I was under the knife within a month,” zoomed in on the model, who boasts more than three million followers on Instagram.
Alanna stated that the other Turkish clinic offered her a nose job as part of the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) offer to further entice her. While the nose job healed perfectly, the butt surgery left permanent damage – she lost £18,000 (around €20,734). Today he says that Turkey is not worth the risk. “I wouldn’t recommend Turkey. I feel like they ruined me,” admitted.
She recently underwent her third and what she hopes will be her final body contouring surgery back home in Australia and now he’s warning others not to fall for discount offers abroad either. “The surgeon fixed my legs, widened my hips and reduced my waist. The results speak for themselves. In Australia they use Vaser liposuction which tightens the skin whereas my doctor in Turkey definitely did not. I can finally see the difference and I’m very happy. Now I tell everyone not to go to Turkey, but to save up and do it properly,” she emphasized.
“It’s much easier to book a procedure overseas, but that’s the problem. In Australia, you have to go through a lot of hurdles, answer mental health questions and even have a mandatory cooling-off period. It’s stricter, but it means you get the right results,” she explained, and this time she didn’t mind the high price of the procedure and the strict recovery.
