Ratinho bets on this measure as one of his legacies in Paraná. The government’s expectation is that the reduction could benefit almost 3.4 million car owners, 83% of the fleet in Paraná.

As an example, the tax for a car valued at R$50,000 fell from R$1,750 to R$950.

The Union of Vehicle Dealers and Distributors of Paraná (Sindicovi-PR) says that, with the reduction, the movement should intensify in the coming months and generate jobs.
