Government announces the program for the Brazil Pavilions at COP 30

In total, there will be 286 events divided into 4 auditoriums in the Blue and Green Zones; conference starts on November 10th

The Ministry of the Environment, in coordination with the Civil House, released the complete schedule with the panel times for the Brazil Pavilions at COP30 (30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change).

This is one of the ways in which civil society can participate in the conference, which will be held in Belém (PA) from November 10th to 21st. In total, there will be 286 events divided into 4 auditoriums in the Blue and Green Zones. Here is it (PDF – 3 MB).

Details of the program will soon be published on the ministry’s website, with information about moderators and panelists, among others. The pavilions will bring together the Brazilian and international community for dialogues on tackling climate change, the 30 strategic objectives of the Action Agenda, the NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions) and the Climate Plan.

In the Blue Zone, debates will focus on discussions aimed at implementing Brazil’s NDC within the scope of the Paris Agreement, in a context of international cooperation.

In the Green Zone, they will focus on topics relevant to Brazilian society in the domestic context, such as the implementation of the Climate Plan, which will be the guide for actions to combat the climate crisis in Brazil until 2035.

Events at Pavillions Brasil will take place between 10am and 7pm, with a maximum duration of 60 minutes.
