Lula participates in the Asean Business Summit

It is the first time that a Brazilian head of state has participated in the Asian bloc meeting

The president (PT) participates this Sunday (26.Oct.2025), in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), in the Business Summit of the (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). It is the first time that a Brazilian head of state has been invited to an Asean summit. Lula attends the meeting at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, who will hold the Asean presidency in 2025.
