Her longtime partner Dominik got down on one knee in January 2022, thanks to which the couple got engaged in the snowy mountains. At the end of 2023, they surprised everyone. It was revealed that they had secretly married. They sealed their love with a civil ceremony in the ceremonial hall. Monika Szabó wore a simple but very stylish dress that not every bride would have the courage to wear.

They said yes again on March 23, 2024 in the Tatras. The actress shared the most powerful experience from the second big day on the social network.

When I suddenly saw all our loved ones who came to the Tatras for us to celebrate an important day with us. I almost cried even then. I was probably only stressed from the fact that we would forget something. And I managed to do that at this moment as well. I forgot the wedding bouquet in the room. The actress’ husband also adopted her daughter Melania, who she has from a previous relationship with actor Matej Marušin. Their family grew at the end of 2020, when they became the parents of a common daughter, Emília.
