From the beginning, Filip Tůma (47) belongs to the ace actors who star in the serial hit Markízy Dunaj, at your service. The audience literally fell in love with his portrayal of the insidious Anton Holubec. On the contrary, the wave of criticism fell on his long-term partner Nela Pocisková (35), who became a new reinforcement in the 11th series. The actor revealed that he just waves his hand over it.

“I don’t read it at all and I don’t care at all, let them write. When someone tells me a normal criticism of what they would do differently, that’s perfectly fine. So I’m not against criticism, but I’m absolutely not interested in hate,” emphasized Tůma. This is not the first project in which he and Nela met on the same set. The parents of two children and life partners previously starred together in the marquee series Búrlívé víno.

Television bet on the actor for the second time and offered him a role in the series The Promise. The favorite artist is not pressured by the comments regarding the casting of the same actors in several TV projects. “We can have fun, who shows up everywhere all the time, it’s certainly not just us. It’s a constellation of different colleagues who could be even more hated, but it’s not absolutely fair for them either.” said Tůma bluntly.

Filip makes no secret of the fact that he is better at playing negative characters. “But it is true that if the villain was only negative, it would not be so interesting. The good thing about the negativity, when there is also some glimmer of good, is that it is not clear-cut. But negative roles are definitely better for me than, for example, lovers,” he admits. He doesn’t crave a positive character. “I never expect or force what I want. Everything that life brings me or a TV offer is interesting to me,” he added.

Tům’s colleague in the Danube is legendary Zdena Studenková (71). A long-time star of the Slovak cultural scene gave him advice on how to play Pigeon at the beginning of filming. He took her words to heart and today he is glad for it. “She told me that it would be good if he was less noisy and more mysterious, that it would make him more terrifying. Well, she was right. I always get advice from a fantastic actress,” he bowed to her in response.

“It’s already so personal with Zdenko, we played together in the comedy Ghost of the Pačmag family, where my mother was, I don’t even want to think how long ago it was. So we, or at least I have a very warm relationship with her. When you take the trouble to tell me something, I really appreciate it.” Filip Tůma said honestly.
