Kingston – Hurricane Melissa is rapidly gaining strength over the Caribbean and is heading towards Jamaica and Cuba as a second-highest category four hurricane. With wind speeds of 220 kilometers per hour, the tropical storm is slowly moving westward, according to the US Hurricane Center in Miami. According to the forecast, Melissa is expected to make landfall as a dangerous hurricane in Jamaica on the night of Monday to Tuesday and in the southeast of Cuba during Tuesday.
