Lula’s nonsense shows what’s in his soul – 10/27/2025 – Dora Kramer

The President of the Republic is enthusiastic and confident. With good reason. Things are going well: positive evaluation on the rise, favorable vote projections, rapprochement with the United States very well underway, deficit public accounts far from the electorate’s immediate radar.

With all this wind in their favor, Luiz Inácio da Silva (PT) cannot help himself. , makes a series of mistakes, the biggest of which is going against reality.

Furthermore, it ignores the tragedy of chemical dependency, calls patients addicts, is tolerant of crime, appears indifferent to the plight of people, families, entire communities in prison and territories dominated by drug trafficking. Let’s not even talk about the seizure of territories by militias — which has everything to do with it, but that’s beside the point here.

Let us look carefully at the president’s actions, words and state of mind. Everything about him refers to personal consecration as a superior and unattributable being. Even what was seen as a “misplaced” sentence, but not wrong as it would be, the correct thing to say in a sincere rectification.

The statement about drug traffickers was uniquely unfortunate, but not fortuitous. Lula has, in which he appears prejudiced, sexist and retrograde, similar concepts that are worth breaking down to make them clearer.

In improvisations he says what he thinks, what is in his soul, but he is lucky to have the complacency denied to other rulers. There are only gaffes in it; in others, grounds for harsh condemnation.

Example: public servants who retired at 40, 50 years of age, draining the Social Security coffers, bitterly said that they called all retirees bums.

Different weights and measures favor the president, but they do not eliminate the fact that civility does not write what comes to his mind. Much less is it suitable for the exercise of the Presidency.
