The US Secretary of State said today that US officials have received information about a possible resolution or an international agreement authorizing the deployment of a multinational force in Gaza and will discuss the matter in Qatar on Sunday.
“Many of the countries that have expressed interest in participating at some level, whether it’s economic or military or both, will need (a UN resolution or an international agreement) because their domestic law requires it,” Rubio told reporters traveling on his plane from Israel to Qatar, en route to Asia. “So we have a whole team working on this draft,” he added.
