Ukraine intensifies its attacks: Zelenskyy plans to extend the attacks to Russian territory

Ukraine plans to expand its drone and missile attacks to other areas in RussiaUkrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced on Monday. TASR informs about it according to the report of the DPA agency.

“The ability to strike at long range is part of our independence and will be the most important component in guaranteeing peace,” said Zelensky in a regular evening video address. He spoke with military commanders about attacks deep in Russiawho were tasked with determining their “geographical spread” and also all the targets of such strikes by the end of the year.

According to DPA, the Ukrainian president admitted on Sunday that there was a technical problem in the production of the Ukrainian Flaminho cruise missile with an alleged range of up to 3,000 kilometers. Ukraine has been resisting the invasion of Russian troops for more than three and a half years and has repeatedly carried out strikes deep into Russian territory, primarily using drones. In a post on the X network, Zelensky wrote that the Russian oil industry, which is the target of these attacks, is already paying a “tangible price” for the war.

Currently, Kyiv is seeking to acquire Tomahawk missiles with a similar range to the Flaminho from the United States. However, US President Donald Trump has so far refused to provide him with tomahawks. According to Trump, Ukrainian attacks deeper in Russia would represent an escalation of the conflict.
