Portuguese students aged 15 and 16 consume less alcohol, tobacco and drugs than the average of young Europeans, but participate more frequently in money gambling games.
Portugal also stands out positively, with values lower than the European average in relation to the consumption of alcohol, cigarettes and electronic cigarettes.
However, when it comes to sports betting, the situation changes: Portuguese teenagers show significantly higher participation, around 10 points above the European average.
For bets placed in physical spaces, the European average is 45%, while in Portugal it reaches 50%. In the case of sports bets made online, 64% of Portuguese students say they have bet money in the last year, while the European average is just 55%.
As for girls consider it to be in much worse condition than boys.
