INSS CPMI should hear from businessman and airline pilot this Tuesday (28)

A CPMI (Mixed Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry) do INSS (National Social Security Institute) Testimonies from two witnesses are scheduled for this Tuesday (28). These are the businessman Domingos Savio de Castro and the airline pilot Henrique Traugott Binder Galvão.

The hearing of Domingos Sávio de Castro is awaited so that he can explain the links with Antônio Carlos Camilo Antunesknown as “INSS Bald” and appointed as a central figure in the scheme of undue discounts on retirement and pensions.

Businessman Domingos Savio de Castro appears as a partner in two call centers cited in the investigation report conducted by the PF (Federal Police) and by CGU (Comptroller General of the Union). One of these companies is also owned by Careca do INSS.

The firms, as the investigation showed, worked for entities involved in the scandal with call center services. The scheme ranged from registering retirees and pensioners to controlling complaints and reports.

In a summons request, the rapporteur (União-AL) also mentions that Domingos Sávio is a “partner and former partner of a myriad of companies” and that he had sent more than two R$2 million to Careca from INSS.

The hearing of pilot Henrique Traugott Binder Galvão should focus on his performance in carrying out flights on aircraft linked to Silas da Costa Vazlinked to Conafer (National Confederation of Family Farmers and Rural Family Entrepreneurs).

“Mr. Henrique’s testimony may help to clarify some relevant points to reveal links between those being investigated, in the context of investigations into fraud at the National Social Security Institute”, highlighted the rapporteur in a summons request.
