The PL of the state of São Paulo released a video in reaction to President Lula’s phrase that “drug traffickers are victims of drug users”, said during a trip to Asia last week, and appointed a former police deputy to respond.

She became known in 2018, when she killed a man who attacked a school in Suzano with a gun in his hand, in an action that was recorded on video.
“I know criminals and I know that drug dealers are malicious and cruel. He’s not poor. Lula doesn’t fight crime, he justifies and destroys the country’s authorities”, says Sastre, currently an advisor to the PL leadership in the Chamber of Deputies.
Lula’s phrase has been explored by the opposition as an example of leniency towards crime and lack of firmness in the public security agenda. and said he expressed himself badly.
