- salt, pepper, a bit of nutmeg, curry,
- oil.
How to do it:
- Peel the onion and garlic and cut into cubes. Salt. Fry the onion in a deeper pot with a little oil, and when it is slightly golden, add the garlic. Fry until golden brown.
- Put the potatoes and pumpkin peeled and cut into medium cubes into the pot. Pour in the broth, stir and cook for about 20 minutes (or until the vegetables are soft).
- Blend until smooth, pour in the milk, season with pepper, nutmeg and curry (half a teaspoon or to taste). Stir and heat for a while.
- Serve with baguette croutons, puff peas, a dollop of cream, and roasted pumpkin seeds.
Pork ham goulash
Ingredients:
- approx. 600 g pork ham,
- 500 g tomato puree,
- 100 ml vegetable broth (or water),
- 2 peppers,
- 2 carrots,
- 2 onions,
- 2 tablespoons of oil,
- a teaspoon of ground hot pepper.
How to do it:
- Peel the onions and chop them into small cubes.
- Peel the carrots. Cut into slices and peppers into strips.
- Cut the meat into cubes, season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil in a pot, add the meat and fry for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat, add the onions and fry for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Add carrots and peppers, pour vegetable broth or water and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Add the puree, 3 cups of water and hot pepper. Mix well.
- Cook covered over low heat for about 1.5 hours (until the meat is soft).
- Serve with mashed potatoes and pickled cucumbers.
