To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 5 large potatoes,
  • 150 g of beef,
  • ½ onion,
  • 1 red pepper,
  • 2 tablespoons of cream 18%,
  • 1 tablespoon of grated yellow cheese,
  • 1 clove of garlic,
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika,
  • ½ teaspoon of thyme,
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt,
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper.

Additionally:

Cut the beef into small cubes, just like the onion. Heat the oil in a pan and add the meat. Fry it for several minutes until it turns nicely brown and becomes soft. At the end of frying, add onion and finely chopped pepper. Continue frying until the vegetable becomes glassy.

Scrub the jacket potatoes very well and prick them with a fork in several places. Rub them with olive oil and salt on all sides. Put the tubers in the oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for 50-70 minutes until soft.

Carefully remove the baked potatoes and cut them in half. Gently scoop out the center with a spoon, leaving a thick wall. Place the pulp in a bowl.

Add the meat and vegetables to the bowl with the inside of the potatoes. Add pressed garlic, cream and spices. Mix everything.

Fill the potato wedges with the prepared stuffing and place them on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the top with grated yellow cheese and put the whole thing in the oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius, or with the grill function, for about 10-15 minutes.

Robber style potatoes serve hot. They taste best with a dollop of sour cream and sprinkled with chopped chives.
