The governor of , (Republicans), comes to Brasília this Tuesday afternoon (28) to meet with authorities from the STJ (Superior Court of Justice) and (Supreme Federal Court).
The first agenda will be with minister Marco Aurélio Bellizze Oliveira, followed by two meetings at the STF: the first with the minister of the Supreme Court and vice-president of the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) Kássio Nunes Marques and the second, with the president of the court, .
The meetings are scheduled to take place between 3:30 pm and 7 pm. Tarcísio is expected to return to São Paulo on Wednesday (29).
With Fachin, Tarcísio must deal with a lawsuit filed by the State of São Paulo involving Rodopetro Distribuidora de Petróleo. The company obtained an injunction to suspend the collection of ICMS (Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services), and now the São Paulo government is asking for the collection of the tax to be resumed.
The SP government claims that the Refit Group — which resells Rodopetro’s fuel — already owes R$9.7 billion to the state.
