The Promise star sought professional help: My world collapsed! I survived the trauma

Mental Health Day is a reminder that taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. In recent years, even famous personalities have decided to talk openly about their psychological problems and that they show that fame or success is no guarantee of inner well-being. With their honesty, they prove that they too are just ordinary people with their weaknesses and fears.

She also joined them beautiful actress Kristína Sisková (27), who has been in front of the cameras for a long time. She appeared in series such as Oteckovia, Nemocnica or Druhá chance. However, most viewers got to know her thanks to the TV series Markíza Sľub.

Kristina posted a series of photos of people and situations on the social network that made her happy during the last period. “And I also wanted to share a small piece of my journey that I am on. About a year ago, my world collapsed. I experienced a trauma that I am fully aware of only today. At that time I was just surviving in some kind of emergency mode“, the actress revealed what she was going through.

She decided to seek professional help. “I decided on regular therapy in January and it was the best decision of my life. I didn’t have anxiety or depression. For now. God knows how it could have ended if I didn’t deal with it in time. Although I won’t really go into details, all I want to say is that we should not trivialize mental health and not make light of the situations that we or those around us go through in our lives,” she told her followers.

Anyone can have a problem. “Whether it’s burnout from work, breakups, family trauma, bullying, issues with your own body and self-esteem .. whatever. Thank God I had people around me who encouraged me to find a therapist, but someone can still encounter misunderstanding,” thinks Kristina.

Social media can be evil these days. “I know that I haven’t discovered America and it’s being talked about now at every turn. But with all the good things we share here, with all the successes, new things, vacations and what else do I know, it’s nice to see a bit of reality sometimes. We all have our own experiences, and if you happen to ever idealize someone’s life through social networks and compare yourself, then believe that that person may be going through the worst period of their life at that time. Even I wasn’t ready to share it then. We’re all in there somewhere together and sometimes it’s very important to hear that,” she reminded everyone.
