There was a fire in a family house in the Košice region: one person was injured

One person was injured in a family house fire that broke out on Tuesday morning in the village of Zemplínska Teplica in the Trebišov district. The regional directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (KR HaZZ) in Košice reported on the social network that seven professionals on four vehicles and four volunteers intervened on the spot.

It was a two-story family house. “Volunteer firefighters were the first on the scene to evacuate one person from the burning room. She suffered burns and inhaled the fumes of the fire. Subsequently, she was treated by firefighters – rescuers in a fire ambulance, after which she was taken to the hospital for further treatment,” reported KR HaZZ.

Firefighters extinguished the fire with four attack jets. One room on the ground floor of the house was completely burnt, other parts of the interior were smoky. An investigator of the causes of the fire also arrived at the scene. The cause is under investigation. The preliminary amount of direct damage was calculated at 50,000 euros.
