The Chairman of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic, Richard Raši, received today the NR of the Slovak Republic extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta in the Slovak Republic, JE prince Alfreda von Schönburg-Hartensteina.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Slovak Republic, Richard Raši, highly praised the very active cooperation between the Order of Malta and Slovakia. At the same time, he thanked the ambassador for the invaluable help that the Order in Slovakia provides to the disabled, sick and people in need. In a joint conversation, both representatives addressed the topic humanitarian support that the Maltese Order provides to refugees from Ukraine in Slovakia.
The Chairman of the National Council of the SR Richard Raši in this context highlighted the mission of the Order of Malta, which for more than a thousand years provides humanitarian, health and social aid in many countries of the world and helps the poor, the sick, the elderly, and the disabled. The meeting also confirmed the interest of both parties in further deepening and developing excellent bilateral cooperation for the future.
