A young man († 22), whose body was found on October 25 near the I/11 road in the Žilina district of Brodno, died in connection with a traffic accident. In this context, the police charged the 38-year-old Toyota driver with manslaughter and failure to render aid. Žilina regional police spokeswoman Daniela Kocková informed TASR about this on Wednesday.
“After the traffic accident, the driver went to an unknown place. Through the thorough operative and search activities of the Žilina police officers, they managed to locate the vehicle in a short time and identify the driver. At that time, a 38-year-old man was supposed to be driving the Toyota RAV4 in the direction of travel from Žilina to Čadac,” said Kocková. The police investigator accused the man, and at the same time processed the request for his custodial prosecution.
