I am a current affairs editor at HuffPost Spain, where I talk about breaking news and analyze some of the current issues.
What topics do I write about?
I write about all kinds of topics, from events to politics and international affairs, always with a critical eye and with the idea that behind each topic there is a story that deserves to be told. In politics and internationally, I try to translate the complex, to make known the discourses and tensions that may arise so that they are understood without having to resort to complex words. Always with the intention of informing, disturbing when it touches and providing a look that does not remain only on the surface.
My career
Cordoba from head to toe. I was born and raised in Córdoba, the land of Julio Romero de Torres and the city with the most World Heritage Sites. I graduated in Journalism from the Rey Juan Carlos University, in Fuenlabrada, where I discovered that writing is not only about telling things, but also knowing how to do it so that you are heard.
Before landing at HuffPost, I did an internship at the newspaper AS, which helped me learn how to work in an editorial office, as well as to collect the occasional anecdote. I have been working at HuffPost for a year now, a place that has become my second family, and I currently live in Madrid. Always eager to learn, laugh and tell worthwhile stories.
