Among the victims of Tuesday’s crash of a small plane in Kenya was the chairman of the boxing department of Vasas Sports Club Gyula Süllős. His family, including children and a nanny, were also on the plane with him, the server borsonline.hu said on Wednesday, according to which two of his children apparently remained in Hungary, reports TASR correspondent in Budapest.
The server says that the eight Hungarian victims traveled together and the group also included Süllős’ mother-in-law, brother-in-law and his child. A small plane crashed in the Kwale district of southern Kenya on Tuesday morning during a flight to the popular Masai Mara game reserve.
Mombasa Air Safari said there were 11 people on board – eight Hungarians, two Germans and a pilot from Kenya. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The plane crashed around 05:30 local time (03:30 CET).
