Boeing’s loss falls 12% in the 3rd quarter

A had a net loss of US$ 5.34 billion in the 3rd quarter of 2025 – a 12% drop compared to US$ 6.17 billion in the same period in 2024, according to the balance sheet released this Wednesday (29.Oct.2025). Here’s the balance sheet (169 kB –PDF).

Boeing’s revenue was US$23.3 billion in the 3rd quarter of 2025 – an increase of 28% compared to US$17.84 billion in the same period in 2024.

According to the company, the results were driven by the delivery of 160 commercial aircraft during the quarter, an increase of 38% in the year, with an order backlog valued at US$535 billion.

The company stated, however, that delays in the certification of the 777X aircraft, with first deliveries planned only for 2027, resulted in a write-down of US$4.9 billion in the quarter.
