The CEO of , João Adibe, suggested on Wednesday (October 29, 2025) that there is the possibility of one day trying to preside over Palmeiras, a team he supports. “I’m a father of 5 children, I’m 53 years old and have 6,000 employees. Who knows, maybe I’ll be president of Palmeiras one day? The first step has already been taken, which was becoming a member of the club”he stated in an interview with .
Cimed is part of the team. Adibe said to be “palmeirense as an individual”but which has a relationship with other teams: “I’m from Palmeiras as an individual. With the CNPJ, I’m from the Brazilian national team, as a Brazilian; from Cruzeiro, as from Minas Gerais; and from Palmeiras, as from São Paulo.”
Cimed maintains investments on different fronts of national football. In addition to Palmeiras, the pharmaceutical company also sponsors Cruzeiro and the Brazilian team, as part of its sports marketing strategy.
