Another U.S. State Department official said “dozens” of U.S. workers are expected at the site they will assist in rescue operations and damage assessment.
According to the US National Hurricane Center in Miami Melissa hit the Bahamas on Wednesday and is expected to pass west of Bermuda on Thursday. the AP agency reported.
