During the launch of the new reality show “Poderosas do Cerrado”, this Wednesday (29/10), the singer, from the duo with Hugo, and psychologist Marcela Fortunato opened their hearts in an interview with reporter Daniella Magalhães, from LeoDias portal. The couple, who are in the final stages of their pregnancy, shared details about choosing the name for their first child and plans for the birth, expected between November and December.
“Yes, we continued with the name Caetano. We decided and never changed”, said Marcela. Guilherme added, explaining that the choice was symbolic and full of emotion: “At first it was a twin pregnancy, but we had the misfortune of losing our girl. I always had a woman’s name in my head, never a man’s. So I told Marcela: if it’s a woman, I’ll choose it; if it’s a man, you choose it. And she came up with Caetano, which is a strong, beautiful and unusual name.”

When asked what name they would choose if they had a girl in the future, Guilherme did not hesitate in answering. “It would be my grandmother’s name, Yolanda. She was a very important person in my life, very calm and loving. I like the name, it has an old feel, but it’s beautiful. If a girl comes, she will be called Yolanda”, revealed the singer, emotionally.
The expectation now is for the arrival of Caetano, who should be born between the end of November and the beginning of December. “It’s scheduled for the beginning of December, but it could come sooner”, said Marcela. Regarding the type of birth, she says that, even after considering a natural birth, she opted for a cesarean section. “At first we didn’t know, but then we decided on a cesarean section. It’s a very personal decision, and I think it will be the best for me. My doctor also agrees,” he said.
With good humor, Guilherme joked about the stories of friends who changed their minds at the last minute: “There are many who say they are going to try a natural birth, but at the first contraction they ask to go to the hospital for a cesarean section.”
