5 search and seizure warrants were executed in Brasília (DF), São Paulo (SP), Palmas and Gurupi (TO); action was supported by the CGU and the Federal Revenue
The (Federal Police) launched the 8th phase this Friday (October 31, 2025), which investigates the deviation of parliamentary amendments. 5 search and seizure warrants were executed, in addition to the blocking of illicitly obtained amounts, in Brasília, São Paulo, Palmas and Gurupi (TO).
According to the PF, the objective is “dismantle a criminal organization suspected of involvement in bidding fraud, embezzlement of public resources, corruption and money laundering”.
The warrants were issued by the (Supreme Federal Court). The PF operation is supported by the (Comptroller General of the Union) and the .
Those investigated may be held liable for crimes of criminal organization, active corruption, passive corruption, embezzlement, bid fraud e administrative contractsin addition to money laundering.
OVERCLEAN OPERATION
Operation Overclean targeted people affiliated with: MDB, PP, PSD, PSDB, PT, Republicans, Solidariedade and União Brasil. The crimes would have been committed from 2018 to 2024 in cities in 5 states (Bahia, Goiás, Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Tocantins).
At that time, the operation aimed to dismantle an organization that had diverted money in overpriced contracts based on fraudulent tenders from city halls with the (National Department of Works Against Droughts).
According to the investigation, brothers Alex and Fábio Parente led a “criminal organization” that would have “co-opted” public servants through the payment of bribes in cash to direct the execution of contracts.
