A white blanket covered the southwest of Iceland. The snowfall was so heavy that it beat even the weather forecasts. Meteorologist Einar Sveinbjörnsson said on the social network that this is an extraordinary supply for the end of October. The snow depth was up to 27 centimeters on Tuesday. In the capital Reykjavík, it may even be a record for the beginning of winter.
Although the children enjoyed the snow, it caused considerable problems. The calamity disrupted daily life in the capital region. Drivers had problems on the roads, extensive travel delays occurred, and dozens of flights at Keflavík airport had to be canceled. The situation gradually improved and air traffic returned to the planned mode.
Thanks to this, even the plane in whose cockpit Viktor Vincze was sitting could land in Iceland. The former Markízy presenter and still fresh pilot reported from the snowy country on Thursday. “Your postman Viktor wishes you good morning from Iceland hit by the snow disaster,” he joked and also posted some shots, which you can view in the gallery. His wife also commented on the post Adela Vinczeová. “And that you only took tennis shoes and no cap, did you write? In a temperature of 0 and a feeling of -15?!” she dug into her life partner.
“Of course, the thought of you warms me! That’s more kitsch than Teleráno,” replied Vincze, alluding to their engagement. Viktor planned a romantic gesture on Valentine’s Day in 2017 and proposed to the blonde in front of the whole nation. A shocked Adela first told him that he was crazy. After the initial surprise, she said yes and cried. The wedding took place in June of the same year.
Viktor’s post from Iceland attracted many people to the comments section. “Are flight hours counted twice in this weather?” asked moderator Bruno Ciberej. “If you had studied better, you wouldn’t have had to be a postman!” one follower joked on Vincze’s account. “What he taught, all you had to do was listen!” Viktor responded. “Well, whoever thinks about the rear (landing) wheels in advance wins! Good luck Viktor!” another commenter sent him a message.
