As soon as the temperatures drop, the toughest time of the year begins for people without a home. In Salzburg, the Vinzi Dach project has been using the “Housing First” approach since 2012 to give them an effective way out of homelessness. The principle is simple: those affected first receive their own apartment, and everything else follows after that. The apartment offers the necessary security to build stability and prospects for a self-determined life.
