Apple pie cheesecake for an autumn dessert. Guests always ask for the recipe

You have guests coming, so you want to treat them to a unique cake? Cheesecake and apple pie will work perfectly, it is a combination of two of the best Polish cakes. Sweet and sour fruits go well with the cheese mass and buttery base. The whole thing is delicate and addictive. An interesting addition are coconut flakes. I’m sure everyone will eat it and ask for more.

Before you start baking, get the right baking pan. It will work well baking sheet measuring 25 × 30 cm.

To prepare the cake base, you will need:

  • 250 g of wheat flour,
  • 125 g of butter,
  • 80 g of powdered sugar,
  • 2 yolks,
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut flakes.

Ingredients for the cheese layer:

  • 500 gwear from the phrase,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 1 vanilla pudding,
  • 60-80 g sugar,
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar.

Additionally:

  • 1 kg of apples,
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar.

Make the dough. Pour flour into a bowl, add powdered sugar and coconut flakes.

Then add cold butter cut into cubes and egg yolks. Knead the shortcrust pastry quite quickly, it should be smooth and elastic. Form a ball, wrap in cling film and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Peel the apples, remove the seeds and cut into cubes. Mix them with brown sugar and set aside for a few minutes to release the juice slightly.

In a separate bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, custard powder, sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat everything with a mixer until the mixture is smooth and uniform.

Roll out the cooled dough and line a baking tin (approx. 25 × 30 cm) with baking paper. Prick the bottom with a fork and put in the oven preheated to 180°C for 10-15 minutes. When it turns golden brown, take it out.

Place a layer of apples on the baked base and gently spread the cheese mixture on top. Smooth the top and return the cake to the oven. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
